Officials are the third team on the ice, without whom the game would not happen as we know it to be. It is an official’s responsibility to ensure that the rules of hockey are enforced, and that the game is played fairly.
FFMHA's officiating Level I and Level II clinic will be held October 29, 2017. Each official must attend an officiating clinic each year in order to re-certify for the upcoming season.
Purpose – To prepare a young or new official to officiate minor hockey.
Hockey Manitoba pre-requisites for becoming a certified Level I official:
Purpose – To further enhance the training and skills of minor hockey officials. To provide further instruction, training and skills to officials advancing through the HCOP levels and looking to building on the foundation of Level I certification.

All classroom sessions are held at the Northern Manitoba Mining Academy. Ice sessions TBD.
