By FFMHA

Parker Denture Clinic Bombers win's first tournament of the season.

The Bantam Parker Denture Clinic Bombers hit the road this past weekend for their first tournament of the season in Prince Albert, SK.

The team faced off against the host Prince Albert team and won 3-2.  Myles Quick picked up the Game Star.  Their next game was up against the team from Aberdeen and wound up with an easy 10-1 victory.  Forward Carter Watt was named Game Star.

Before their semi final match they first had to face off against the Prairie Storm and easy defeated them 5-1 with goaltender Peter Ross picking up the Game Star.

With a 3-0 record after the round robin they would face Davidson with a trip to the finals on the line.  The Bombers would defeat Davidson by the same 5-1 score setting up a final game against the Regina Blues.  Defenseman Tanner Dutcawich would pick up the Game Star in the Semi Finals.

The Regina Blues would be no match for the Bombers as they soared to a 4-1 win and an A Final Championship with foward Mitch Reid picking up the Game Star in the final.

The team would like to thank the coaching staff, Head Coach Dan Hotel and Assistant Coach Cory Bradt, for their time and hard work this past weekend.
